Our Story
Hey there, welcome to the Kronchy family!! We’re Laura and Mario a multicultural couple from Colombia and Mexico, with the mission of sharing the delicious flavors of Latin America with the world.
In 2019 we started our journey to create Kronchy, it all began because we missed eating the foods we grew up with, so we got cooking! Our cravings were constant, every week we recreated healthier versions of the dishes we loved, but we didn’t always have the time or the energy to be in the kitchen. More often than not we found ourselves grabbing a quick bite that didn’t satisfy our souls and definitely didn’t nourish our bodies.
So, we decided to take matters into our hands, we need it to come up with something QUICK, HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS that had the Latin touch we enjoyed so much.
We came up with the idea of Arepas because the recipes with them are endless! These corn delicacies are naturally gluten-free, they can be filled with whatever you want, as they are pre-cooked they freeze wonderfully and also their shape makes them supremely practical.
After trying many recipes we found the perfect combination of flavor and practicality, making them the ideal size for a toaster. The result was AMAZING, so we had to share it with you.
